Custom Double Swing Iron Gate with Solar-Powered Electric Motors

Most driveway gates are picked out of a catalog. You get what everyone else gets - same design, same dimensions, no personality. This one is nothing like that. We built this double swing gate completely from scratch, designed specifically for this property and this entrance.

Every detail was welded by hand. The scrollwork across the top, the circle ring banding through the middle, the decorative star cutouts along the bottom panel - none of it came off a shelf. The monogram letters on each door panel were fabricated and fitted right into the design. It's the kind of ornamental iron work that takes time to get right, and you can see the difference when it's done.

We also paired the gate with solar-powered electric motors, which is one of the smarter setups you can do for a rural property. No trenching for electrical lines, no ongoing utility cost, and the gate opens and closes on its own every single day. Convenience without a complicated install.

The gate hangs between two stone masonry columns, and we made sure the fit was exact. Gaps matter. Alignment matters.
